Judging by the way the weather has been these days it would seem that we have very few options. Beautiful, sunny and bright days only happen with freezing temperatures and strong winds. However when Mother Nature listens to cries and wishes for warmer weather she decides to send it with rain and fog and all the melting snow that comes with it.
The comfort of flowers is that you can enjoy them through your window and still find beauty in whatever is happening outside. Our boutique-style walk-in cooler was specifically crafted with floor-to-ceiling glass and over sized windows to showcase our ever- changing flower designs and arrangements. But if the weather prevents you from visiting our downtown Oakville store give us a call or order online and have them delivered to your door.
Tulips are the flowers that we most typically find caught in this type of weather in the Greater Toronto Area.

Once Valentine's day is over there is always a void that makes us feel lost and anxious for spring to arrive. Helas, we are exactly one month away until it's official start and for us Canadians probably two or MORE months before the snow disappears.
I always laugh when I see some Southern magazines presenting beautiful outdoor settings with flowers at this time of the year knowing that for us in the north it will take a while before that becomes a reality.
But it is for that very reason we remain hopeful of what lies ahead. We enjoy every minute of sunshine and warmth and we make the best of what we have.
So even if you got them for Valentine treat yourself to fresh flowers.
"Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul." - Luther Burbank
